Today is the 5th Annual Bronzeville Juneteenth Celebration: Honoring the Legacy of Freedom from 11am-5pm at 3500 S King Drive. It’s a day of family fun with performances, cultural showcases, local vendors, food, educational resources and more. General admission is free.
Today is also the 47th Annual Puerto Rican People’s Parade, starting at noon down Division Street and ending at the festival in Humboldt Park, which continues through tomorrow.

It’s our V103 Juneteenth Music Fest on Thursday starring Ashanti, Donell Jones, Lil Kim, Mya and Lloyd at Wintrust Arena.
Also Thursday, DuSable Black History Museum hosts its 13th Annual Juneteenth BBQ & Block Party all day with free admission to the museum, children’s activities, vendors, food trucks, and more. And check out other Juneteenth events across the city and Chicagoland area here.
