The NAACP Image Awards will air live from the Pasadena Civic Center this Saturday at 8pm ET/PT on BET and CBS. This year, the event will honor several influential figures. Dave Chapelle and the Wayans family are set to receive the NAACP President’s Award, while former Vice President Kamala Harris will be recognized with the prestigious Chairman’s Award. In addition to the awards, the NAACP has launched its Black Consumer Advisory. NAACP President Derrick Johnson explained that this framework is designed to help the community make informed decisions on where to spend their money. In other news, NFL placekicker Justin Tucker of the Baltimore Ravens now faces further allegations of misconduct from seven additional massage therapists, bringing the total to 16 therapists from eight spas.
