Marlon Wayans has officially decided to take the high road and put an end to his public back and forth with 50 Cent. In a recent podcast interview, Marlon explained that the situation was never as serious as people made it seem. He said he usually stays focused on work and avoids drama because it distracts from his goals.
The tension started after Marlon made a comment about karma related to how 50 Cent was joking online about Diddy’s legal troubles. While some people thought it would turn into a long term feud, Marlon says he quickly realized it was not worth it. He shared that while smoking a cigar, he reflected on what kind of example he wanted to set.
Marlon said, “What example do I want? Is this an example of two Black men with two businesses fighting in public? It’s not good for my culture.” That moment helped him decide to move on and focus on unity instead of conflict.
He even went a step further by saying he would consider working with 50 Cent in the future. Marlon revealed he is developing action projects and believes 50 could be a strong fit. With that, the beef is officially squashed.
